Late War M44 frog bayonet for the K98. Considered by collectors to be an economy model made towards the end of the war to save leather. Originals cary widely in the color of both the leather (brown or black) and the webbing (tan, green, gray, or blue-gray) as well as the rivet types.
Issued to all German troops during the Winter Months of 1944 to the end of the war.
